cycles for the virtual machines on the host.
Resources not displaying - Increasing timeouts
One or more types of Insight Orchestration resources (for example, virtual networks) are not
displayed in Insight Orchestration's user interfaces.
Issue
Due to a large number of resources to fetch, one or more of Insight
Orchestration's resource fetch operations may have timed out, waiting
for completion. By default, Insight Orchestration is configured to fetch
resources of each type for up to 5 minutes.
Possible cause
On the Central Management Server that Insight Orchestration is running on, timeouts may be
configured in the hpio.properties file, located for example at: ..\Program Files\HP\
Insight Orchestration\conf\hpio.properties
.
The primary fetch timeout properties that might need to be increased are the following:
•
timeout.get.serverpools
•
timeout.get.subnets
For large numbers of Software Automation (SA) or Rapid Deployment Pack (RDP) images, the
property is timeout.get.images.
Other fetch timeout properties available to configure are the following:
•
timeout.get.storagepools
•
timeout.get.vmtemplates
•
timeout.get.deployment.services
For example, to increase the fetch subnets timeoutfrom the default value of 5 minutes
to 15 minutes, modify the line: timeout.get.subnets = 5 to be: timeout.get.subnets
= 15
