6. Press the Enter key to confirm the selection.

7. Use the ◄ Func ► keys to go to the SAVE

FUNC SET function.

8. Press the Enter key to save the baud rate

settings.

Edit UART
Settings

1. Connect the PCS-1000 to the PC using the GTL-

240 USB cable.

2. Open the Windows Device Manager, using

Windows 7, click:

Start>Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Device
Manager:

3. In the device tree go to: PORTS (COM &

LPT)>PCS-1000 (COM XX)

4. Right-click PCS-1000 and select Properties.

5. Go to the Port Settings tab and from there you

can set any other UART settings such as data
bits, parity, number of stop bits and the flow
control.
