9.0 TROUBLESHOOTING SCT® EQUIPPED MACHINES

Gates will not
open/close
No hydraulic pressure to
meter block Engage hydraulic circuit (wing down)
Check SCT node Check lights on front of nodE
Meter block PRV (pressure
relief valve) set to low Increase PRV pressure until gates cycle (do not exceed 500 psi)
No power at coils Turn master switch on
Check fuses
Check connections at coil and SCT node
Openers will not
lift No hydraulic pressure to
meter block Engage hydraulic circuit (Opener)
BFJ (pressure relief block) set
to low Increase pressure (factory set to 1800 psi)
No power at coils Turn master switch on
Check fuses
Check connections
Wing down switch
will not work No hydraulic pressure Engage hydraulic circuit (wing down)
Master switch on Turn master switch off (unfold only)
Random opener
sections lifting Improper look aheads Ensure that the look ahead number is not a negative number.
Agressiveness set to high Turn aggressiveness off
Improper drill setup Check drill setup
Meter roller wont
turn No hydraulic pressure Engage hydraulic circuit (wing down)
Product control switch is off Turn product control switch to auto
Roller is jammed Remove roller from meter body and remove obstruction from
meter.
Check air cart node Check lights on front of node
Check meter settings Make sure that the meter cal and cal wieght is entered
correctly
No fan speed Fan sensor out of alignment Check and re‐align sensor if necessary.
Fan cal is incorrect Set fan cal to 2
No hydraulic pressure
Diverter block is set to the
auger/conveyor position Set diverter to the fan position
No tractor speed Speed settings set incorrectly
Outer opener
sections engage
when turning No field boundry recorded Create a field boundry
Agressiveness is on Turn aggressiveness off
