Select Hosts dialog box

The dialog box contains the following information:

Hosts in Fabric table: Lists the available hosts in the fabric.

Selected Hosts table: Lists the hosts that have been selected to access the target.

Port WWN: The world wide name of the host ports that are in the same fabric as the
encryption engine.

Node WWN: The world wide name of the host nodes that are in the same fabric as the
encryption engine.

Port Name: The user-assigned port name, if one exists; otherwise, the symbolic port name
from the device.

Port ID: The 24-bit Port ID of the host port.

VI Port WWN: The world wide name of the virtual initiator port.

VI Node WWN: The world wide name of the virtual initiator node.

Host Name: The name of the hosts that are in the same fabric as the encryption engine.

Port WWN text box: Type a world wide name for a host port.

NOTE

You must enter the host node world wide name before clicking Add, to add the WWN to the
Selected Hosts table.

Node WWN

text box: Type a world wide name for a host node.

NOTE

You must also enter the host port world wide name before clicking Add to add the node
WWN to the Selected Hosts table.

Device Type: The device type indicated by the fabric’s name service. The value is either
Initiator or Initiator + Target.
