5.2 Configuration of the MIQ/TC 2020 XT
During the commissioning of the MIQ/TC 2020 XT on the
IQ S
ENSOR N ET System MIQ/TC 2020 XT, you determine the
configuration of the MIQ/TC 2020 XT as a terminal/controller or
terminal (see section 3.11).
If, after the initial commissioning, you want to change the configuration,
proceed as follows:
Note
If another controller already is already running in the IQ S
ENSOR N ET ,
the MIQ/TC 2020 XT cannot start working as a controller.
Remove the old controller from the IQ S ENSOR N ET and dock the MIQ/
TC 2020 XT once again.
or
Cancel the log-in with ESC.
or
Undock the MIQ/TC 2020 XT from the IQ S ENSOR N ET , then redock it.
Select the operating mode, "Terminal" for the MIQ/TC 2020 XT.
1 Reset the MIQ/TC 2020 XT to the default condition ("System
settings/Service/Factory reset").
After the reset the instrument asks for the operating mode once
again (terminal/controller or terminal).
2 Select the required function.
The MIQ/TC 2020 XT will then try to register with the selected
functionality on the IQ S
ENSOR N ET .
