4.10 Software update for IQ S ENSOR N ET components
With a Software update you can regularly update your IQ S ENSOR N ET
System 2020 XT USB and all active components.
From software version 3.09 for the MIQ/TC 2020 XT, new instrument
languages (e.g. Asian languages) are available for the IQ S
ENSOR N ET
components. The software update is subdivided into language packets.
The transfer of the new software version to the MIQ/TC 2020 XT is
carried out via a USB memory device.
The update packet with the current instrument software for active
IQ S
ENSOR N ET components is available on the Internet under
www.ysi.com.
Note
A Software update leaves measurement settings, measurement data
and calibration data unchanged. The instrument languages included in
the language packet are installed automatically. Languages that were
installed before are erased except for German and English.
Prerequisites for the
Software update
 USB memory device with directory and files for the Software update
 MIQ/TC 2020 XT ready for operation
(the MIQ/TC 2020 XT must be configured as a controller for a
software update of all components)
 If the extended access control is activated, the Software update can
only be carried out with administrator authorization.
For the Software update of IQ S ENSOR N ET components, the software
version 3.09 or higher is required for the terminal/controller MIQ/
TC 2020 XT.
