Status Report Result Codes
When the modem is set in the fax mode, each ATD or ATA command will make
the modem try to establish a fax connection and the modem will send a status re-
port result code back to the DTE (computer).
When a fax connection is successfully established, the modem returns this message:
CONNECT FAX/SnnnnVnTnRnLnCnP
#L0 Sets maximum recording length: A4 (297mm ).
#L1 Sets maximum recording length: B4 ( 364mm ).
#L2 Sets maximum recording length: unlimited.
#C0 Sets the minimum scan line time capability of the receiver:
20ms at 3.85 line/mm, T(7.7)=T(3.85).
#C1 Sets the minimum scan line time capability of the receiver:
5ms at 3.85 line/mm, T(7.7)=T(3.85).
#C2 Sets the minimum scan line time capability of the receiver:
10ms at 3.85 line/mm, T(7.7)=T(3.85).
#C3 Sets the minimum scan line time capability of the receiver:
20ms at 3.85 line/mm, T(7.7)=1/2 T(3.85).
#C4 Sets the minimum scan line time capability of the receiver:
40ms at 3.85 line/mm, T(7.7)=T(3.85).
#C5 Sets the minimum scan line time capability of the receiver:
40ms at 3.85 line/mm, T(7.7)=1/2 T(3.85).
#C6 Sets the minimum scan line time capability of the receiver:
10ms at 3.85 line/mm, T(7.7)=1/2 T(3.85).
#C7 Sets the minimum scan line time capability of the receiver:
0ms at 3.85 line/mm, T(7.7)=T(3.85).
#P Sets the local phone number; the phone number following the
character 'P' can have up to 25 characters. The modem will
exchange this phone number with the remote fax machine
during the initial handshaking.
NO DIAL TONE Tries to dial, but no dial tone is detected.
NO CARRIER The handshake fails or no carrier is detected or time-out.
BUSY The other party's phone line is busy.
NO ANSWER Expected quiet answer is not detected before time-out.
