4) To save the settings to a profile, press

MENU once, and press the right arrow key

until you see

SAVE TO. Press ENTER and then the right arrow key to choose the

profile you would like to save to; then press

ENTER again to select it.

5) To activate these settings as your power-on default, you need to reset from this

profile at least once. To do it from where we left off in 4), press the right arrow
key and stop at the

RESET submenu. Press ENTER and use the right arrow key

to select the profile to which you saved the settings in 4). Press

ENTER to reset

the modem and make the profile the power-on default.

Setting using the AT Command Set

You will have to issue these commands from an asynchronous terminal if the
ZyXEL modem you own does not provide a front panel. You can use this method
for all ZyXEL modems which provide the

SYNC option.

Issue from any terminal program the following commands:

ATZ2&M3*I1&N0&W0Z0

After this command is executed, you should see the

RXD LED of your modem stay

on most of the time.
