If you disable HTTP in the Service Access Control screen, then the ES-3124 blocks all HTTP
connection attempts.
17.7.1 HTTPS Example
If you haven’t changed the default HTTPS port on the ES-3124, then in your browser enter “https:// ES-3124 IP
Address/” as the web site address where “ES-3124 IP Address” is the IP address or domain name of the ES-3124
you wish to access.
The HTTPS proxy server listens on port 443 by default. If you change the HTTPS proxy server port to a different
number on the ES-3124, for example 8443, then you must notify people who need to access the ES-3124 web
configurator to use “https:// ES-3124 IP Address:8443” as the URL.
17.7.2 Internet Explorer Warning Messages
When you attempt to access the ES-3124 HTTPS server, a Windows dialog box pops up asking if you trust the
server certificate. Click View Certificate if you want to verify that the certificate is from the ES-3124.
You see the following Security Alert screen in Internet Explorer. Select Yes to proceed to the web configurator
login screen; if you select No, then web configurator access is blocked.
