Play back the title up to the point
where you want to set a start point
for the scene to be deleted, then
press [OK].
Start point is now set, and the highlight
automatically moves to “End”.

Play back the title up to the point
where you want to set an end point,
then press [OK].
End point is now set, and the highlight
automatically moves to “Preview”.
The portion for deletion is indicated in red in the
progress bar at the bottom of the screen.

With “Preview” highlighted, press
[OK] to preview the result.
Before and after 5 seconds of the deleted scene
can be previewed every time you press [OK].
• If you are not satisfied with the result, use
[ U \ D] to go back to “Start” or “End”, and try
setting them again.
• If you are satisfied with the result, proceed to
step 6 .

Use [
U \ D] to select “Delete” then
press [OK].

Use [
U \ D] to select “Yes” then
press [OK].
Final confirmation message will appear. Select
“Yes” using [
U \ D] and then press [OK].
The selected scene is now deleted.

Press [BACK U] once or repeatedly
to go back to the title list.
Note
• When you search for the Start/End point at step 3 or
4 , you can also use the special playback functions
such as [ T (NEXT)], [D (FFW)] etc.
You can hide chapters from the title list.
Hidden chapters are skipped during playback.

Follow steps in “How to Access the
Edit Menu” on pages 64 - 65 to
display “Edit” menu.

Use [ U \ D] to select “Hide
Chapter”, then press [OK].

Use [
S (PREV) / T (NEXT)] to go to
the chapter you want to hide, then
press [F (PAUSE)].

Use [ U \ D] to select “Hidden”, then
press [OK].
The chapter is now hidden.

Press [BACK U] once or repeatedly
to go back to the title list.
Data will be written onto the disc momentarily.
This operation may take a while to be completed.
If you want hidden chapters to be “Visible”,
select the chapter to be shown. Then use
[
U \ D] to select “Visible” at the step 4 .
Data will be written onto the disc momentarily.
After that, title list is displayed.
