On playback of Time Shift Buffer, you can pause or go
back to view earlier parts of the TV programme that is
currently being watched. For the Time Shift Buffer,
refer to “Time Shift Buffer” on pages 29 - 30.

To pause and resume the TV programme:

When watching TV programme
through this unit’s tuner, press
[
F (PAUSE)].

The TV programme will be paused and its sound
will be muted.

Press [B (PLAY)] to resume the TV
programme you were watching from
where you have paused.

To go back the TV programme:

When watching TV programme
through this unit’s tuner, press
[

S (PREV)], [E (REW)], [T (NEXT)],

[D (FFW)] or [REPLAY].

• While playing back the Time Shift Buffer,

pressing [

S (PREV)] or [T (NEXT)] skips

playback point 5 minutes backward or forward.

To go back to the specific time:

When watching TV programme
through this unit’s tuner, press
[DISPLAY], then press [OK].

Use [

U \ D \ L \ P] or

[Alphanumeric keypad] to enter a
desired time, then press [OK].

• While playing back the Time Shift Buffer, press

[LIVE TV] to go back to the current position of
the TV programme broadcast.

• While playing back the Time Shift Buffer, press

[C (STOP)] to cancel the playback.

• When watching TV programme at live or on play

back from Time Shift Buffer, press [DISPLAY]
once to display the Time Shift Buffer information.

• Noise reduction, zoom and virtual surround

functions are available while playing back the
Time Shift Buffer.

Note

• While on playback of Time Shift Buffer, you will

not be able to change channel or audio/subtitle
languages for digital channels.

• If you change to DVD mode or when this unit

turns on for the timer recordings, the Time Shift
Buffering will not be performed.

• When this unit turns on for the timer recordings,

the Time Shift Buffering will not be performed.

• For the contents of the Time Shift Buffer, you

cannot change the TV audio.

• Once it has exceeded 6 hours, the beginning of

Time Shift Buffer will be deleted accordingly, and
the elapsed time displayed will be unchanged.

Search

Using [

S (PREV) / T (NEXT)] buttons

During playback, press [

T (NEXT)]

to skip the current title or chapter
and move to the next.

The unit moves to the next title or chapter one
after another.
To go back to the previous title or chapter, press
[

S (PREV)] twice in quick successions.

Note

• For playback from HDD, [

S (PREV)] or [T (NEXT)]

does not allow playback to go to the next and
previous title.

Using the [DISPLAY] button

During playback, press [DISPLAY].

Select the

icon using [

L \ P],

then press [OK].

for the title number is highlighted.

Searching for a Title:

Enter the desired title number to
search for using [

U \ D] or

[Alphanumeric keypad], then press
[OK].

Title search will start.

Hint

• Total number of chapters and playback time of the

selected title are also displayed.

Searching for a Chapter:

Press [

L \ P] to highlight the number

displayed in the right side of the

icon.

Enter the desired chapter number to
search for using [

U \ D] or

[Alphanumeric keypad], then press
[OK].

Chapter search will start.

Hint

• The title number and playback time of the selected

chapter are also displayed.
