Setting up a device-to-device Wi-Fi network

or to browse the web.

Tap Wi-Fi controls on the status bar.

Scan for available networks:
a. Select the Wi-Fi pick list, and
then select On.
b. Select Scan/Setup.

When you enter a URL in
the web browser or select
Get and Send in the
VersaMail
® application,
a connection is
automatically initiate with
the last-used service
Did You Know?
When Wi-Fi functionality
is on, the Wi-Fi icon on
the status bar displays
signal-strength bars
showing the strength of
your network connection.
Before You Begin [ ! ]
You need to know the
following information:
• Name of the network,
also known as an SSID
• Security information,
such as WEP keys
• Channel number
You may also need to
know the IP address and
DNS server information.
