Network selection
The Network Selection feature enables you to automatically or manually select the network used when roaming
outside of your home area.
Note: You can select a network other than your home network only if there is a valid roaming agreement between the two.
To change the Network Selection mode:
Search now
To change the Network Selection mode:
1. From the Home screen, touch Quick List ➔ Settings ➔ Network selection.
2. Touch Search Now.
The phone scans for network connections and displays them.
3. Touch the network to which you subscribe and touch Select.
Default setup
1. From the Home screen, touch Quick List
➔
Settings
➔
Network selection.
2. Touch Default setup.
3. Touch one of the following options:
• Automatic: you are connected to the first available network when roaming.
• Manual: the phone begins searching for available networks. Touch the radio button next to the network with which you want to
connect and touch Select.
If a connection is available, you are connected.
Data synchronization
You can configure Google applications to run in the background and automatically synchronize data such as Gmail,
the Calendar, and Contacts with the phone.
