Bluetooth Settings
My Phone’s Name
1. From the Home screen, open the Widget bar and touch the Bluetooth widget.
2. Turn on Bluetooth.
3. Touch Settings.
The device name displays on the Bluetooth settings screen.
My Phone’s Visibility
1. From the Home screen, open the Widget bar and touch the Bluetooth widget.
2. Turn on Bluetooth.
3. Touch Settings.
4. Touch the My Phone’s Visibility field and touch Off, Always, or Custom.(1 thru 60 minutes).
5. Touch Save.
Secure Mode
When the Bluetooth Visibility is turned on, your phone is wirelessly transmitting its phone name and status. This
transmission can pose a security risk and incite unauthorized connection to your phone. It is recommended that you
activate your phone’s Bluetooth security.
1. From the Home screen, open the Widget bar and touch the Bluetooth widget.
2. Turn on Bluetooth.
3. Touch Settings.
4. Touch On or Off from the Secure mode field.

Actually, the Bluetooth specification is a protocol that describes how the short-range wireless technology works,
whereas services describe the individual devices that are supported. These services reduce the chance that
different devices integrate.
