MAP 0000: Start MAP
This MAP describes initial fault isolation beginning at the:
•
Failed product.
•
Browser-capable PC with Internet connectivity to the firmware-
resident Enterprise Fabric Connectivity Manager (EFCM) Basic
Edition interface.
•
Product-attached open systems interconnection (OSI) host
console.

Prior to fault isolation, acquire:
•
A system configuration drawing or planning worksheet that
includes the location of the product, management interface,
other McDATA products, and device connections.
•
The internet protocol (IP) address, gateway address, and subnet
mask for the product reporting the problem.
•
User IDs and passwords.
Continue to the next step.
