Replacing the Stepper Motor Assembly (D900087)

Refer to Drawing D900077

Tools Needed: Phillips Head Screwdriver.

Parts Needed: Stepper Motor D900087

Estimated Repair Time: 10 minutes.

Steps Procedures

Caution: Turn off the Printer and unplug the power cord from the

Printer.

Remove the Rear Cover. See

Remove the Input Door and Right End Cap. See

Remove the Card Output Door and Left End Cap. See

Remove the Baseplate Assembly. See

Remove the Headlift Motor Assembly. See

Caution: The Headlift Ex. Spring (F000334) may spring out.

Remove the Stepper Motor Drive Belt. See

Replacing the Stepper Motor

Use a Torx T-10 screwdriver to remove the three (3) screws (F000171) that
secure the Stepper Motor to the Printer. See the frontend display with this set of
procedures.
