The XM Saleliile Radio controlling functions in the following buttons (SEARCH MODE. CATECiORY. PRESET/TUNINCi/CH <1 /

t>. MEMORY, and DISPLAY) arc only applicable to the U.S.A. model and arc operational only when "XM" is selected as the input

source. For details, sec "XM Satellite Radio controls and functions" on page 5.S.

Turns on this unit or sets it to the standby mode

(see page 27).

Notes

• In the standby mode, this unit consumes a small amotiiil of

power in order to receive infrared signals from Ihe lemotc
conirol.

• When you turn on this unit, there will he a 4 to 5-second delay

betöre this unit can reproduce sound,

• Switches the function of PRESET/TUNING/CH O /

t> betw'een selecting preset station numbers and

selecting the tuning frequency.

• Edits the assignments of preset stations (see page 50).

Switches the reception band between EM and AM when
“TUNER” is selected as the input source (see page 45).

© A/B/C/D/E, NEXT

• Selects one of the 5 preset station groups (A to E) when

“TUNER” is selected as the input source (see page 45).

• Selects the speaker channel w hose output level you

want to adjust w hen “TUNER” is not selected as the

input source (see page 35).

© PRESET/TUNING/CH <1 / >, LEVEL +/-

• Selects one of the 8 preset station numbers (1 to 8)

when “TUNER” is selected as the input source. The
colon (:) is displayed in the front panel display (see
page 45),

• Selects the tuning frequency when “TUNER” is

selected as the input source. The colon (:) is not

displayed in the front panel display (see page 45).

• Adjusts the level of the speaker channel selected using

NEXT when “TUNER” is not selected as the input
source (see page 35).
