2'Channel stereo direct. Bypasses the decoders and DSP processors of this unit for pure hi-fi
stereo sound when playing 2-channel analog sources.

• The “AUTO" setting bypasses the decoders and DSP processors only when “BASS" and
“TREBLE" arc set to 0 clB (see page 32).
• When multi-channel signals (Dolby Digital and DTS) arc input, they arc dowrimixed to 2
channels and output from the front left and right speakers.
• The low-frequency signals inpul from the front left and right speakers are redirected to the
subwoofer in the following cases:
-■■LFE/BASS OUT" is set to “BOTH" (see page 79).
- "FRONT SP” is set to "SMALL” (see page 78) and “LFE/BASS OUT” is set to "SWFR”
(see page 79).
6-channel stereo center, surround left, surround right tuid surround back levels. Adjusts the
