Setting the XM Satellite Radio
preset channels
You can use this feature to store up to 40 XM Satellite
Radio channels (A
1 to E8: 8 preset channel nuinbers in
each of the 5 preset channel groups). You can then recall
any preset channel easily by selecting the preset channel
group and number as described in “Preset Search mode”
on page 58.
2 Press MEMORY on the front panel (or XM
MEMORY on the remote control).
The MEMORY indicator flashes in the front panel
di.splay for approximately 5 seconds.

You must proceed to and carry out steps 3 through 5 while
the MEMORY indicator is hashing in the front panel
display.
Press CATEGORY on the front panel (or
A-E/CAT. < / > on the remote control)
repeatedly to select a preset channel group
(A to E) while the MEMORY indicator is
flashing.
The preset channel group letter appears in the front
panel display.
1 Search for a channel you want to set as a
preset channel by using one of the XM
Satellite Radio search modes.
