■ Sound field parameter descriptions
You can ad just the values of certain digital sound field parameters so that the sound fields are recreated accurately in your
listening room. Not all of the following parameters are found in every program.
To change sound field parameter settings to suit your listening environment, see page 66 for detttils.

Initial delay. Presence, surround, and surround back initial delay. Changes the apparent distance
from the source sound by adjusting the delay betw'ccn the direct sound and the first rencclion
heard by the listener. The smaller the value, the closer the sound source seems to the listener. The
larger the value, the larther it seems. For ;i small room, set to a small value. For a large room, set
to a large value.
Control rtuige: I to 99 ms (INIT.DLY and P.INIT.DLY)
