Customizing the Kits

This lets you decrease the
volume of the strongest hits
while preserving their nuances.
Use this to keep the volume
down while still maintaining
the nuances of the strongest

Pressing the [F5] (H & R) button to switch this on lets you make

simultaneous settings, such as both the head and the rim.

You can set the “Kit Volume” on the KIT SETTINGS screen (VOLUME

tab) as well.

The MIXER VOLUME and MIXER PAN settings can be copied (p. 45).

Applying Effects

Use the effects to change the volume (pad compressor) and tonal

character (pad equalizer) for each pad, or to set a maximum of three

effects to apply to the drum kit sound (multi-effects).

Press the PAGE [UP] [DOWN] buttons to display the

settings screen.
