(3) Setting the transmission type
The transmission type is associated with the type of the interface to communicate with the PTZ camera.
Move the focus to the channel you want to set in the transmission type menu using the direction
(STWX) buttons in the PTZ setup menu, and press the [SELECT] button.
When the selection box is displayed, select a transmission type using the direction (ST) buttons
and press the [SELECT] button.
RS-422 Approved by EIA, standard interface to connect serial devices
RS-485 Standard interface, approved by TIA/EIA, for multi-point communication lines.
(4) Setting the transmission speed
The transmission speed is the communication speed to communicate with the PTZ camera.

The transmission speed should match with the communication speed of the PTZ camera.
For more information about how to set the speed of the PTZ camera, refer to the Guide of the
camera because it depends on the manufacturer and model.
Move the focus to the channel you want to set in the transmission speed menu using the direction
(STWX) buttons in the PTZ setup menu, and press the [SELECT] button.
When the selection box is displayed, select the Baud Rate using the direction (ST) buttons and
press the [SELECT] button.
