When the selection box is displayed, select On or Off using the direction (ST) buttons and press
the [SELECT] button.
- - NTP
This protocol synchronizes the time among DVRs linked to each other across the network.
Function description
1. Time synchronization
1) Synchronization with the NTP server
Synchronizes the NTP server and time once per hour
A. Auto setup
Based on the zone the user set, tries to connect the nearest server first and move to the next one the
predetermined list When theconnection trial fails.
B. User setup
The user sets the URL or IP of the NTP server, and the system, When theconnection trial fails, it notifies
you with a message and also leaves it in the log.
When thesynchronization with the NTP server fails, it synchronizes with the DTS.
2) Synchronization with the DVR time server (DTS)
The DTS server works at the Premier series system, and synchronizes with the DTS once per hour.
Premier series DTS clients that refer to the DTS, synchronize the time of the DVR system that works as
the DTS.
When the DTS changes the time or zone, a synchronization occurs among Premier series systems bound
across the same network. (The synchronization signal transfers packets by broadcast, and does not pass
through routers or gateways.) In the case of the DVR time server, there is no automatic connection.
2. Daylight Saving(DST) setup
The DST is automatically handled depending on the zone regardless of NTP server and DTS server.
3. User time setup
The user sets the time directly.
With the NTP client setup, the user can not change the time although he/she can still see it.
