If you choose INDIVIDUAL, you see this display:
CAUTION: Do not use the INDIVIDUAL setting unless
you have installed additional memory as described in
Appendix A. If you save this option before adding
memory, you could damage your printer.
Press to move to the following display:
The number on the left is the total number of megabytes (M)
available, and the number to the right of each channel is the
proportion of the memory allocated to that channel. Use the
and buttons to change the proportion numbers (between 0 and 9).
Note: When you share the printer, each printer channel requires at
least 0.3K of RAM and the printer always needs some portion of
RAM for general operation. If you use one memory chip set to
increase the printer’s memory to 1.0MB, your best settings would
be 3:4:3 or 4:3:3 or 3:3:4.
