Assembling the Printer
Before you can use the printer, you need to install a few parts. Make
sure your printer is in its operating location before you install these
parts.
Note: The consumable parts for this printer are listed below. It is
recommended you keep spares on hand for timely replacement.
For more information about the life of these parts, see
Consumable parts in Chapter 8.
Photoconductor unit
Toner cartridge Lasts up to 30,000 pages
Lasts up to 5,000 pages, depending
upon the complexity of print jobs
Installing the Photoconductor unit
The first component you need to install is the photoconductor unit.
Follow the guidelines below during installation; otherwise, print
quality may decline.
