Using optional font cartridges, the printer does not operate as
expected.
The desired font cannot be selected.
You may not have inserted the font cartridge correctly. Reinsert
the cartridge as described in Appendix B.
The correct page orientation (portrait or landscape) may not be
selected with SelecType. Only fonts containing the selected
orientation are available. See Font Cartridges in Appendix B for
more information.
Using the optional multi-media feeder, the printer does not
operate properly.
Paper does not feed from the multi-media feeder.
Be sure you have made the proper paper choice with your
application software.
The INPUT menu in SelecType Level 1 may be set to STD. To use
the multi-media feeder, the INPUT option in SelecType Level 1
must be set to OPT or AUTO. Change the setting as described in
Chapter 4.
There may be no paper in the multi-media feeder. Load paper
into the multi-media feeder.
You may have tried to load too many sheets of paper in the
multi-media feeder. The tray can hold a maximum of 150 sheets
of 75g/m 2 (20 lb) paper.
