ATTENTION
Software damage due to an interruption of the synchronization process
If the synchronizing of the flash file system and the content of the SD card is inter-
rupted (e.g. due to a power failure), the software can be damaged and the HMI may
not be able to restart.
5.11.17 Update the C6x software

NOTE
Do not remove the SD card until the SAFE icon is displayed so that it will be detected by the
HMI when you reinsert it.
Update the C6x software
Perform the following steps in the indicated sequence:
" Make sure that the RS232 cable between the HMI and the control unit is connected.
" Switch off the inverter. To do so, press the OFF button in the main menu.
" Copy the software file (*.hex) to the SD card.
" Insert the SD card into the HMI.
" Select “Setup” → “Software upgrade”.
" Select “C6x” and press “Start”.
A dialog box for opening files is then displayed.
