7FFE 32766 Watchdog
Timeout One or more Program Units
associated with a Task have not
been completed within the
‘Watch Dog Timeout’ setting. Yes Yes Yes Critical Critical

Extend the Watchdog Timeout for the faulted
Task. Generally, do not exceed 3x the cyclic
task’s value nor 300ms for an IoSync Task.
Application program may be overburdened –
reduce amount of logic placed in fast Tasks
(15ms or faster) to slow Tasks (30ms or slower).
This may include reducing number of Program
Units and/or program elements.
7FFF 32767 Fatal Error Unrecoverable fault, usually
occurs during Driver startup. Yes Yes Yes Critical Critical

Verify that there are no hardware problems on
the PC used to create the application. Re-
compile and reload the program and reload it to
the SmartTrac drive. The Smart Trac main CPU
card may be faulty. If available, download a
small test program to see if fault persists.
