5. ADJUSTMENTS UPON INSTALLATION (Cent’d)
Upon installation , make adjustments in reference to the
adjustment procedures given. in the table below.
Table 5.1 Adjustment Procedures

1 Check the interior and exterior of the control cabinet.
2 Check screw terminals for tightness.
3 Connect external cables and check.
4 Connect the power input cable.
Check connector and module locations to be sure of
positive connections.
6 Check settings.
Check input power supply voltage and frequency. I
Check that the composite power supply unit outputs are
not short-circuited.
9 Check the output voltages after initially applying power.
Check the 1/0 signals between the NC unit and the
machine tool.
Check parameters and setting data.
12 Perform a second power application.
13 Check to be sure the emergency stop functions.
14 Check movement on each axis by manual feed.

15 Adjust the servo system.
16 Check that all NC functions operate successfully.
