11.5 Deleting a User
1. Select "Configuration > User Management".
☑ The "User Management" page opens.
2. In the line of the user, select the delete icon.
☑ A security prompt opens.
3. Click [Yes] to delete the user.
11.6 Changing your Password
Each user created (except "Guest") can change his password for Sunny Portal access.
1. Select "User Info/Logout".
2. Select "User Information".
3. Select "If you want to change your password, please click here" under the table.
☑ The "Change password" tab opens.
4. Enter the previous password in the "Old password" field.
5. Enter new password in the "New password" field.
6. Enter new password again in the "New password (re-enter)" field.
7. Select [Save].
Never delete the e-mail address used by the communication product.
Never delete the user whose e-mail address is used by the communication product
(e. g. Sunny WebBox, Cluster Controller) to send data to Sunny Portal. Otherwise, the
communication product will no longer be able to send data to Sunny Portal. If you want to
enter a new e-mail address in the communication product, proceed as follows:
• Create a user with the new e-mail address in Sunny Portal and assign the role of
"Administrator" or "Installer" (see Section 11.2 ”Creating a New User” (page 70)).
• In the communication product, enter the new e-mail address for sending data to
Sunny Portal.
• In Sunny Portal, delete the user with the old e-mail address as described below.
