10 Device Settings
10.1 Calling Up and Filtering the Device Overview
On the "Device overview" page, you can view details of all devices in your plant and make
device-specific settings. The "Overview of New Devices" tab will only be visible if Sunny Portal has
detected new devices in your plant.
1. Select "Configuration > Device Overview".
☑ The device overview of all devices in the active plant now opens.
* = active, = deactivated
Item Meaning
A Settings for filtering the device overview
B Device Overview
C Device name: name of the device
D Serial number: serial number of the device
E Product group: device group, e.g., Sunny Boy 4200TL

Data collection: indicates whether the data of this device is to be used on
your Sunny Portal pages, see Section 10.2.1 ”Activating/Deactivating the
Device” (page 63).

Monitoring: indicates whether the device (inverter, Sunny WebBox) is
participating in plant monitoring, see Section 7.3 ”Plant Monitoring”
(page 40).
H Properties: opens tab with device properties of the device, see Section
10.2 ”Calling Up Device Properties” (page 59).
I Parameters: opens the "Parameters" tab of the device, see Section
10.3 ”Calling up the Parameters of a Device” (page 68).
K Logbook: opens the "System logbook" tab with filtered messages for
this device, see Section 7.2 ”System Logbook” (page 39).
