Designation Enter name for the string
Manufacturer Select the module manufacturer
Module type Select the type of module
You must set the manufacturer first. The menu content will vary
depending on the selected manufacturer.
Module power This data is entered automatically when you select the module
type. You can enter adjustments in the fields using the arrows or
the arrow keys on the keyboard.

Enter the number of modules on the string
Azimuth angle You can enter the azimuth angle of the string module surfaces
here. The azimuth angle indicates the number of degrees by which
the module surfaces deviate from an exact southern orientation.
• Tracking
If your modules track the sun automatically, activate this
field.
Tilt angle Set the tilt angle of the string module surfaces. The tilt angle
indicates the number of degrees by which the module surfaces
deviate from the horizontal.
• Optimized
If your plant is optimized for latitude, activate this field. In
Germany, the optimum orientation is 30° from the
horizontal.
Description Enter comments
