8.3 Parameters

This section describes how you can change the display parameters for your plant in Sunny Portal.
These settings are only relevant for the display of your plant in Sunny Portal and have no effects on
the devices. The following sections contain a description of the parameters and information on the

3. Select [Edit].
4. Enter amount of compensation.
5. Select currency.
6. Select [Save].

Avoided Factor

The CO

factor indicates how much CO

is produced for every single kilowatt hour of electricity

generated in the country. Depending on the technology used and the efficiency of the facility, the CO

factor of

the electricity supplied in your region from your electric utility company. The CO

2

factor is used by

Sunny Portal to calculate how much CO

2

has been saved by eco-friendly power generation in your

plant.

1. Select "Configuration > Plant Properties".
2. Select the "Parameters" tab.
3. Select [Edit].
4. Enter CO

2

factor in the "Factor" field or adjust with the slider.

5. Select [Save].
