Connecting Kalypso to An Existing LAN

The Kalypso system can be connected to an existing LAN in your facility
(e.g., Omnibus LAN), in a number of different ways depending on the
number of system components, the existing network structure, and the
needs of the user.

In the example in

Figure 75

, the Kalypso system components are connected

to an external 8 port switch then interface to the Video Processor frame
internal switch and the existing LAN.
