Function Description

Adding a security zone

Allows you to add a security zone.

Clearing security zones

Allows you to clear manageable security zones from a device.

Modifying a security zone

Allows you to modify the share method and priority of security zones.

Applying a security zone

Allows you to apply a security zone to devices.

Redeploying security zones

Allows you to redeploy a security zone.

Deleting security zones

Allows you to delete security zones.
To delete a security zone, click the

icon in the Operation column of

the zone.

CAUTION:

Security zones Local, Trust, DMZ, and Untrust in the Root of virtual devices are system predefined security
zones and cannot be deleted.

Security zone list

The security zone list is on the security zone management page, as shown in

Figure 69

.

Security Zone ID

ID of the security zone.

Name

Name of the security zone.

Priority

Priority of the security zone.

Share

Share method of the security zone.

Virtual Device

Device where the security zone is configured.

Deployment Result

Result of the deployment operation.

Operation

Click the

icon to modify the security zone.

Click the

icon to apply the security zone to devices.

Click the

icon to redeploy the security zone.

Click the

icon to delete the security zone.

Adding a security zone

1.

From the navigation tree of the firewall management component, select Security Zones under
Security Policy Management to enter the security zone management page, as shown in

Figure 69

.

2.

Click Add to enter the Add Security Zone page.

3.

Specify the information such as a security zone ID, its name, its priority, the share method, the
virtual device, and deployment method. See

Table 68

for more information.

4.

Click Add.
