Managing virtual devices
Configuration guide
From the navigation tree of the firewall management component, select Virtual Devices under Security
Policy Management to enter the virtual device management page, as shown in Figure 64 . Table 63
describes the virtual device management functions.

Function Description
Virtual device list Allows you to view information about all virtual devices.
Adding a virtual device Allows you to add a new virtual device.
Clearing virtual devices Allows you to clear virtual devices from devices.
Modifying the web
management user settings
of a virtual device Allows you to modify virtual devices.
Deploying a virtual device Allows you to deploy a virtual device to devices.
Redeploying virtual devices Allows you to redeploy a virtual device.
Deleting a virtual device Allows you to delete a virtual device.
CAUTION:
•
Only super administrator can add and delete virtual devices.
• To clear, deploy, or redeploy a virtual device, you must have operation permissions on the virtual device.
Virtual device list
From the navigation tree of the firewall management component, select Virtual Devices under Security
Policy Management. The virtual device list appears, listing all manageable virtual devices as shown
in Figure 64 . Table 64 describes the fields of the virtual device list.

Field Description
Virtual Device ID ID of the virtual device.
Virtual Device Name Name of the virtual device.
