Function Description

Copying a packet inspection profile

Allows you to copy a packet inspection profile to generate a new one.
Follow these steps:

1.

Click the

icon of a packet inspection profile.

2.

Specify the settings to generate a new one.

Modifying a packet inspection profile Allows you to modify a packet inspection profile.

Redeploying packet inspection
profiles

Allows you to redeploy packet inspection profiles.
Follow these steps:

1.

Select the check boxes before the profiles that you want to
redeploy to devices.

2.

Click Redeploy.

Deleting packet inspection profiles

Allows you to delete packet inspection profiles.
To delete a packet inspection profile, click the

icon of the profile.

CAUTION:

If a packet inspection profile is also managed by other administrators, it cannot be modified. To modify
such profile, copy the profile to generate a new one, and then make modifications.

Packet inspectioni profiles

From the navigation tree of the firewall management component, select Packet Inspection under Intrusion

Detection. The packet inspection profile list appears (see

Figure 104

), displaying the information about

inspection profiles of all manageable virtual devices.

describes the fields of the packet

inspection profiles.

Name of the virtual device for which the packet inspection profile is configured.

Security Zone

Security zone for which the packet inspection is configured.

Details of the packet inspection profile.

Deployment Result

Result of the deployment operation.

Description

Description of the packet inspection profile.

Name

Name of the packet inspection profile, in the format of YYYYMMDDhhmmss.

Operation

Click the

icon to deploy a packet inspection profile to devices.

Click the

icon to modify a packet inspection profile.

Click the

icon to copy a packet inspection profile.

Click the

icon to delete a packet inspection profile.

Adding a packet inspection profile

From the navigation tree of the firewall management component, select Packet Inspection under

Intrusion Detection to enter the packet inspection management list page, as shown in

Figure 104
