CAUTION:
You cannot create a MEP if the MEP ID is not included in the MEP list of the service instance.
Configuring MIP generation rules
As functional entities in a service instance, MIPs respond to various CFD frames, such as LTM frames, LBM
frames, 1DM frames, DMM frames, and TST frames.
MIPs are generated on each port automatically according to related MIP generation rules. If a port has
no MIP, the system will check the MAs in each MD (from low to high levels) and follow the procedure
described in
to create or not to create MIPs (within the same VLAN):

You can choose appropriate MIP generation rules based on your network design.
