1.1 Overview
Comtech EF Data’s TRP500-4450 C-Band Outdoor Amplifier – is shown in Figure 1-1 and
referred to throughout this manual as the TRP500, SSPA, or “amplifier”. Its compact, thermally
efficient design and beneficial features are the result of Comtech EF Data’s extensive experience
in the design of outdoor RF amplifiers and transceivers.
