Select 1),

Radius Enable

enables radius

authentication. If enabled, the primary radius
server address must be specified

Radius Server Address

specifies the

radius server IP addresses

Select 3),

Radius Backup Server Address 

specifies the backup server IP addresses

Select 4),

Radius Secret

sets the shared radius

secret. A secret can be up to 16 characters and
must be exactly the same as the secret stored on
the server.

Select 5),

Enable URPC usernames as backup

enables URPC usernames as backup login allows
an unsecured access until` the RADIUS server
becomes available.

Select 6),

Radius Login Timeout

sets the amount

of time the unit will wait for a response from the
radius server after sending the login message to the
radius server. A timeout on a radius response is
treated, per RFC specifications, as a rejection from
the radius server

Select 3), from the Log In Menu, Radius is used to
authenticate logins for the serial and the network ports
if passwords and user names are enabled in the unit. If
the Radius server rejects either the username or
password or does not respond, the unit will display
“Invalid Password”.

Select 7),

Radius Server Port

enables the unit to

communicate with Radius Server. If you type a
port number less than 1024 the Host Module
responds with the same screen until a valid entry is
typed.
