3.4.3 Removing the System
If the system is too heavy, you can remove the blades before removing the system.
Removing the System
To remove the system from a rack, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect all power input cables.
2. Disconnect all cables from the blades, RTMs, ATCA-MF105 and user cards.
3. Remove the earth ground connection.
4. Loosen and remove the mounting screws.
5. Remove the system from the rack.
The system has to be powered down before the removal (see Powering Down the System on
page 85 ).
