Troubleshooting
A.1 Error List
A typical AdvancedTCA system is highly sophisticated. This chapter can be taken as an error list
for detecting erroneous system configurations and strange behaviors. It cannot replace a
serious and sophisticated pre- and post-sales support during application development.
If it is not possible to fix a problem with the help of this chapter, contact your local sales
representative or Field Application Engineer (FAE) for further support.

No response when the
system is powered on No power at the power supply. Verify that power is available at
the power supply.
Some component was jarred
loose during shipping. Check that components are
seated properly and the thump-
wheel screws are tight.
Pins in a backplane connector are
