8. Tighten loose screws before proceeding.
9. Remove the desiccant bags delivered together with the system and dispose of
them according to your country’s legislation.
2.2.2 Site and Installation Planning
Planning basic site and installation requirements you have to consider the following issues:
 Is adequate power for the Centellis 2000 system available?
 Can the system be positioned in a way that -48 VDC to -60 VDC power source is easy to
reach?
 Are racks with sufficient space to install the system available?
 Is suitable equipment available to lift the system into the rack?
 Is there enough space to run a system console terminal (only if you want to use a local
terminal)? Is the cable long enough to reach the system?
 Are the inlet and outlet of the fans and therefore the airflow not blocked?
2.3 Requirements
Before and during system installation and operation, you always have to ensure that the
requirements listed in the following sections are met.
2.3.1 Environmental Requirements
To ensure proper function of the system, make sure that the environment in which the system
is to be used fulfills the environmental requirements.
The system is thoroughly inspected before shipment. If any damage occurred during
transportation or any items are missing, please contact our customer's service immediately.
