Modular Block System: Burner Management
Standard Function Blocks
Monitoring of air pressure
SB152 is designed for the safe monitoring of air pressure build-up, which
should be carried out during burner start-up and continual air pressure
monitoring while the burner is operating. If there is insufficient air SB152
resets the enable i.e.
ENBL output.
After a start pulse, a delayed air pressure signal must appear at the
AirP
input. Until the air pressure is built up, the waiting time is determined via
the ventilators and flaps. Continuous air pressure monitoring is activated
via a pulse at the
NEXT input. Afterwards, SB152 resets the ENBL output
immediately if the air pressure is insufficient (
AirP = 0).
Please note: The short signals at the inputs are spurious signals. They
are to be expected and will not trigger a fault.
The
ENBL output is not set.
It can only be started again after a
reset.
Air pressure monitoring will only be
activated after a pulse at the
NEXT
input.
Before this, the signal at the input
AirP can drop out, without burner
start-up needing to be interrupted.
SB152
When activating air pressure monitoring
with NEXT = 1 and a “1”-Signal is not
present at the AirP input, the ENBL output
is reset.
