Modular Block System: Burner Management
6-105
The
SyOK input enables the
cycle.
A “0” signal at this input sets the
outputs to a safe state.
The individual steps are enabled with
a control byte at the
NEXT input
SyOK must remain at “1” during the
complete cycle.
The
RDY output in byte format indicates the
current status of SB159.
The individual bits from this byte must be
linked with the corresponding step block so
that a timed cycle of the outputs occurs.
The duration of the individual
RDY bits,
together with the whole cycle is determined
by the
NEXT input byte.
With Bit 2 at the
NEXT input the control
enable is set, and the power regulator
can be activated.
The control enable is cancelled by Bit 3.
The burner power is reduced to ignition
power. When this is achieved, the
burner can be switched off. The start
status is made with the reset pulse at
the
SyOK input
After the main flame has been
monitored and is established,
RUN
is set.
This time is configured by the user
in the sequence block (SB149).
The output
FLAM is set after the main
flame safety time.
If a flame is not detected by the flame
monitoring block before the main flame
safety time, then a flame fault is
signalled (
FLAM = 1).
This fault creates a fault lock-out.
