Specific Commands

SOURce:MODE?

Description This query returns the current source mode.

Syntax

SOUR:MODE?

Response

A boolean value representing the current mode state:



0: Normal mode



1: High-Resolution mode

SOURce:POWer:ALC

Description This command activates the laser output Automatic Level

Control (ALC). The source is either in ALC mode or Max. Power

mode.

Syntax

SOUR:POW:ALC

Parameters The parameter is an expression indicating that the

source is:



0 or OFF: Maximum Power mode (ALC off)



1 or ON: ALC mode

Example

SOUR:POW:ALC 1

Note

This command is for modules equipped with the PMF output

only. It cannot be used while the source is performing a sweep.
