Specific Commands
OUTPut:ASE?
Description This query returns a value indicating whether the ASE option is
available on the tunable laser source.
Syntax
OUTP:ASE?
Response
A boolean value indicating whether the ASE option is available
on the FLS-2600B Tunable Laser Source:
0: the ASE option is not available
1: the ASE option is available
Note
The response will always be “not available”.

Description This command is used to set the source mode (tunable or ASE).
Syntax
OUTP:MODE
Parameters The
the source mode:
0: Tunable
1: ASE
Note
This command cannot be performed if the FLS-2600B is
performing a sweep. It will return an error if ASE is selected
because it is not available.
