With the ADV6600 in an upright position:
1. Ensure that a gasket is installed in the gasket groove of the calibration cup bottom cap and that
the bottom cap is securely tightened. Do not over-tighten as this could cause damage to the
threaded portions of the bottom cap and tube.

4-6. Water Quality Sensors - Calibration Procedures
1. Connect the ADV6600 to
a computer.
2. Launch the ADVantage
6600 Software for
Windows.
3. Choose Connect to
System. Verify the COM
setting and Baud Rate.
Click on Connect.
4. Select Change System
Settings under the Data
Collection screen menu.
A Quick Setup dialog box will appear.
5. Click on Sonde Menu. A window will appear displaying the Main Menu of the Water Quality
firmware.
