8. Click on the “Record” button so that the data acquired during the study will be saved to a
file for later analysis. Give the file a name which is associated with your application so
that you will be able to associate the beam check and the study at a later date.
9. Now manually raise the ADV6600 up into the bucket so that the so that the head of the
sensor is just immersed (i.e. transmitter and receivers are covered in water) as shown in the
picture below left. Continue recording data and the display should change one which is
similar to that shown below right.
10. Acquire Beam Check data for approximately 60 seconds and then click on the red Stop
icon at the top of the screen halt data acquisition. The final display will remain in place on
the screen for analysis as well as having been stored for later use.
