Hardware
Configuration Displays hardware specifications of the instrument used during data
collection.
File Information Displays information about a data file, including file size, start time, end
time, number of samples, parameters collected and comments entered
about the file.
Recorder Opens the Recorder window to upload data files and format the memory.
Compass
Calibration Used to perform a compass calibration as described in Calibration and
Diagnostics.
Beam Check Used to verify all aspects of the ADV operation as described in
Calibration and Diagnostics.
Set Pressure Offset Used to calibrate the pressure offset of the instrument.
Set Time Resets the instrument date and time to match the computer’s settings.
Advanced Allows access into the system terminal, updates firmware, or loads a
preset probe configuration.

Load Template A template determines the basic structure for a data file and contains
settings such as how many graphs are displayed, which parameters are
displayed, etc. This feature is used to load a previously saved display
template and convert the view of the current data file to that of the
template.
Save Current
Template Allows a user to modify the view of an existing data file and then save
the settings as a template for viewing future data files.
Delete Template Allows an existing template to be deleted.
Settings Allows workspaces to be activated or deactivated. Also allows the user
to choose between Metric or English units for display of data.
Screen Display Changes the background colors of the screen display.
